Are you guilty?

All of us have felt guilt at some time in our lives. The feeling of being guilty is evidence that we have done something wrong. Did you know that God has made provision for our guilt?

The unbeliever has no place to take guilt, and no way of dealing with it except by trying to rectify himself what has been done if possible. Many times though it is impossible for the person feeling guilty to rectify a situation for which they feel guilt.

* The very look on their faces gives them away. (Isaiah 3:9)

Guilt to an unbeliever is an inward acknowledgement of missing Gods perfection, and reveals a need for a Saviour. If this is you, God is calling you to Himself, and asking you to believe in Him, and He says He will not leave you ashamed.

* That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved(Romans 10:9)
* For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10)
* For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed(Romans 10:11)

Guilt points to a need for salvation for the unbeliever. But what about the believer?

Many believers also feel guilt. Guilt for a believer though is actually conviction from the Holy Spirit, and indicates the need for repentance.

King David was certainly guilty. Among other things, King David had committed adultery, and when Bathsheba became pregnant he tried to cover his sin by first bringing her husband Uriah home from the battle front. (refer to Samuel)

King David later cried out to God with deep repentance

* Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities, Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; (Psalm 51:9-11)

Scripture tells us that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sin, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

* And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me. (Jeremiah 33:8)
* If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)

The purpose of repentance is restoration, first in our relationship with the Lord, and then to people. Repentance also enables God to move into a situation on our behalf. It enables Him to do what we cannot do. It also gives us a new beginning.

May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

God is a God of Love and He wants to BLESS man!

God has done everything He can to ensure that mankind is blessed and protected. He has established spiritual laws in the earth that govern mankind, but in order to activate the blessing these spiritual laws have to be followed.

God has

- Given us the 10 commandments, and a foundation to live our lives by. The 10 commandments are spiritual laws that bring blessing to those who follow them whether they are believer's or not. God wants to protect all of mankind!

- Sent us a Saviour so that through believing on the Lord Jesus Christ mankind can be saved and experience the reality of eternal salvation. God promises to reveal Himself to those who genuinely cry out to HIM.

- Provided for those who accept Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Saviour through believing in His Word - the benefits include health, healing, protection, giving us the desires of our heart, and much much more.

Another way that a Christian is blessed is through the tithe.

- The purpose of the tithe is related to God's promise
- God promises to rebuke the devourer for the tither's sake

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." (Malachi 3:10)

"And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes" (Malachi 3:11)

- The tithe itself is giving 10% of what you have, usually in the form of income, to God for His Plans and Purposes. Not giving the tithe activates a curse.

"Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation" (Malachi 3:8, 9).

- Many Christians give 10% of their income. Christians giving 10% of their income are responsible in their relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, to follow the inward witness about where to give their tithe. If the tithe is not given where God is directing it to go, then it is not the tithe.

- The tithe is to be given to apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers" (Ephesians 4:11)

- As Christians, when we support ministries that God does not want us to support, we are not listening to the inward witness and therefore not following God's Plan for the Body of Christ.

The tithe is just one of many ways God reveals another facet of His Love to His people. When God asks us to give to Him, it is so that He can bless US! God is a giver, beginning with giving Jesus Christ His Son. When God asks us to tithe, it is designed to activate a higher level of blessing!

May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

The Resurrection of Jesus was the greatest event that ever took place, either in the sense realm or the spiritual realm. Satan is defeated, and Jesus has taken back the authority that was once on Adam, and has given it to mankind to be used in the earth just as God intended.

His last cry on the Cross was "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me" (Matthew 27:46). Jesus took on sin by faith just as we accept His righteousness by faith. We as Christians need to take on the Holy Spirit's account of what happened at the Crucifixion as Matthew, Mark, Luke and John only give us part of what happened, as they only seen in part at the time.

Jesus bore it ALL!, ALL sickness, ALL disease, and went to Hell and paid the price in full for the remission of our sins. The Lord over sin, sickness and death. He died as Jesus, the Lamb. He arose as the Lord High Priest. He conquered death and the grave. In the book of Isaiah you can see the weight of the curse that was upon Him, and how His visage was visible in the sense realm. For this it occur, it had to be happening in His spirit first for it to be visible in the natural realm. Isaiah 52:14 Just as there were many who were appalled at him his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness .

After the crucifixion had taken place, Jesus was raised from the dead and is about to take His own blood, as the High Priest, into the Heavenly Holy of Holies, to make the eternal redemption. The resurrection of the Lord Jesus let love loose, which is compassion Himself!

I pray that you find your destiny in Christ Jesus, just as Jesus did by submitting to the Father. And together with Christ we will fill the earth with His glory (Genesis 1: 27-28), just as He planned for mankind in the beginning.

May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Are you forsaken?

Have you ever felt like everyone you knew, including family and close friends have turned their back on you? Did you know Jesus also felt forsaken, but in the midst of His pain and anguish, Jesus praised the Father, knowing that the Father would never forsake His Son. God is a God of Love, and He does not forsake His people.

Psalm 22 is about Jesus on the Cross. In the midst of being crucified, He called out to the Father.

* My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me (Psalm 22:1)

But it is important to read the entire Psalm because it has a victorious ending!

* Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel (Psalm 22:23)

* For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him (the Lord), he heard (Psalm 22:24)

This passage of scripture is telling us that Our Father is not ignoring us, and has heard us when we cry out to Him. Psalm 22:3 also tells us that God inhabits praise. This scripture tells us what to do to overcome affliction we are to praise the Lord!

Praise is active, and releases the power of God to deliver us.

* I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall l be saved from mine enemies (Psalm 18:3)

God loves His people, and will NOT forsake them.

* For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever (Psalm 37:28)

Did you know that your tears are so precious to God, that they are bottled? (Psalm 56:8). This is an act of a loving God.

God loves you so much that He will even make rivers for you in the desert if He has to!

* I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

(Isaiah 43:19)

Whatever you are going through right now dear friend, God has not forsaken you. Gods promise to you is that you shall not want, and that He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:1-2). This verse is describing a location God is leading you on a journey from wherever you are right now to this location, and along the way God will still make provision for your needs.

God is doing His part; keep on trusting Him in the knowledge that He loves YOU.

May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

God’s plan is health for you!

God has designed our body to heal itself – we have all experienced the natural ability for our body to repair itself. This is evidence that God is a GOOD God and wants to heal individuals.

God also wants to make HIS ways known to mankind, and to bring healing to multitudes, as outlined in scripture …

  • “That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations” (Psalm 67:2). If God wants to heal nations, then He wants to heal YOU. “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.” (Matthew 4:23)

The question must be asked then – if God is a good God, and health is HIS plan, and He is able to heal, then what is the reason that so many people are sick? Please let me explain some of those reasons.

‘Sickness can creep in to a healthy body without the person realizing it at first – anyone who has had a food borne illness can testify to that! God has warned us in His word about certain foods, and what to eat. When God designed the earth He designed it to provide food for man, but after the fall and due to death and decay, God instituted another eating plan. When we consistently choose what food to eat, we choose the consequences.

  • God gives us food to eat, but forbids eating blood (Genesis 9:2,3). In both Deuteronomy Chapter 14:3-21 and Leviticus Chapter 11 further clarification is given about what mankind should and should not eat. When we eat foods that God is warning us not to eat, there are reasons for it. Both the vulture and the kite are designed as scavengers – their purpose is to clean up the earth, they are not to be eaten by man.

Most people however need healing not just for their body. God has designed us with a spirit, soul, and body (the soul consists of the mind, will and emotions). God in His great mercy has given us multiple systems to enable health and healing.

  • We have all been hurt by thoughtless words, and these hurts are mostly hidden, God promises healing from these hurts. “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds” (Psalms 147:3). God tells us to speak wisely “Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones” (Proverbs 16:24).

Although it might not make sense to us, in this example, healing begins first with forgiving the person that has hurt us! “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” (Mathew 6:14). We might not understand God’s Plan, but when we follow it, we benefit. When we forgive others, God forgives us. “ Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases” (Psalm 103:3). Healing follows choosing to forgive.

God has made provision for healing and health even if a disease is attempting to establish itself. “O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. (Psalm 30:2). God will do His part. Will you choose to believe God’s word, and to trust Him for healing? God may prompt you to change your lifestyle, to forgive someone who has deeply hurt you, or to see a doctor – but whatever you do, you need to trust in Him to heal you!

God’s greatest health plan for mankind though is for eternity.

God has given us Jesus Christ, that all who believe on him will be saved. “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (I Peter 2:24). Salvation and healing are a joined blessing. Everyone who makes Jesus Christ their personal Lord and Savior is entitled to healing at the same time!

If you have been saved, but walked away from God, God loves you and is still calling out to you - “Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings.” (Jeremiah 3:22). Dear friend, if this is you, please choose to return back to Him today.

May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Who’s Voice are You Hearing?

We hear so many voices in our daily lives that it can be difficult to hear the voice of the Lord. So how do we discern the voice of the Lord?

Anyone living in western society is constantly exposed to a variety of sounds the sound of the television, the sounds of selected music. A multitude of sounds will often interrupt normal daily communication between people, and prevent the hearers from inward reflection by their constant distractions. This is why it is important to have quiet time to your self.

The following scriptures give examples of different voices that can be heard

* So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law (Exodus 18:24)
* And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long (Exodus 19:19)
* And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried (Numbers 14:1)
* And the LORD heard the voice of your words (Deuteronomy 1:34)
* Can I hear any more the voice of singing men and singing women? (2 Samuel 19:35)

* And a fool's voice is known by multitude of words (Ecclesiastes 5:3)

But there are other voices too. However, these voices are less obvious these are the voices that we hear inside our head. Some of those voices are normal, and some are not. For example, we might think of a meeting that we have arranged, and plan how we are going to get there. This is normal thought, where we are in a sense talking to ourselves, and it is used to accomplish activities in our daily lives.

Everyone however has experienced the sense of going against their own conscience. Our conscience was given to us in order to discern right and wrong, and we can develop it either for good or evil by the choices we make. This is in the area of the soul, where the mind, the will, and the emotions are. God has made provision for the soul, and there are many scriptures about this area. God warns us about the company we keep because constant exposure to the same people helps moulds decisions that we make whether for right or wrong.

* Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?(Proverbs 8:1)

God also has a voice, and speaks to us by His spirit. When God speaks to us, it is because it is important, and He is intervening to protect and guide us.

* And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? (1 Kings 19:13)

God has created us as spirit beings, who also live in a body, and have a mind. Many people dismiss the spiritual, and yet they will often participate in it and not realize that they have exposed themselves to it for example, there are a multitude of supernatural type television programs that people will watch. This example though is just one of many. Exposure to the supernatural affects us as spiritual beings, and often, without the persons active awareness, trains those who expose themselves to it. Depending on the level of exposure, and the individuals personal checklist of their conscience, this can result in people committing heinous acts and when asked why they did what they did they will say that the voices told them to do it.

To understand spiritual things, we need to read the handbook provided for us by our designer. The Bible has provided scripture as spiritual food, and we need to refer to it daily. Scriptures provide a checklist that also reflect the inward witness of Gods voice. This is called the renewing of our mind, and will enable us to more clearly hear and obey Gods voice.

* Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people (Jeremiah 7:23)

May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

God is not a respector of persons

You have don't to be moulded like the traditional church people to know God and Jesus, you just have to open your heart.

Eric Clapton sang songs like "Presence of the Lord" and "Faith. He just acted like himself and was not moulded by doctrines.
Scripture Reference:

Acts 10:34 (New International Version)
34Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism.

1 Peter 5:7 (New International Version)
7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
