God’s Dream for you

Do you know that God wants to reveal Himself to you? It’s in the Bible, in black and white for those who will dare to believe it, in I Kings 8:41-43 (KJV) and this is what it says:

v.41 “Moreover concerning a stranger, (that’s anyone who doesn’t know God), that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name’s sake v.42 For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm; when he shall come and pray toward this house v.43 “Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do all that the stranger calleth to thee for…”

It’s a cry from the heart, not the head. You can’t sit down over a cuppa and say I want to win tatts lotto – it’s deeper than that, it’s in your heart. And God promises that He will do EVERYTHING that a stranger asks him to! Isn’t that just awesome!

Please let me tell you a little about God. The Hebrew and Greek languages are numerical as well as alphabetical, and this has enabled coding in the Bible. For instance, in the book of Exodus the words TORAH are spelt out at regular intervals. Although some people knew that it was there, it wasn’t until Ivan Panin, (a mathematician, who originally set out to prove the Bible was wrong) became involved that the first documentation of the code began, but this was only apparent on one level. It was until the event of computers that the complexity of the code began to be unravelled, proving that man outside God’s help could not have written the Bible in its current form.

The Ten Commandments are set down as a law of love – they are protection to the individual, the family, community and nation – if followed they bring blessing. They are actually spiritual laws at work in the whole earth, but like the law of gravity, you can’t see it, just its effect. People who break these laws pay a price for violating them that simply isn’t worth it. (E.g. see Zechariah 5:3 & 4 (KJV)) re: what happens to the thief. It’s not that God doesn’t want that person to have it – He want to and will give people the desires of their heart, but they need to seek Him, and do it His way.

“Signs in the Heavens”, a book available through Marilyn Hickey Ministries outlines the star signs proclamation of the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, beginning at Virgo. It’s a big deception that we can know our future through them, and what is the point of knowing something if you can’t change it. God has provided for out future in His Word – WE determine our future by what we believe, what we receive, and our walk with Christ. There are two types of futures – one here on the earth and one for eternity. God has made provision for both. We choose, not the star signs. It’s just that most people, even Christians, don’t know how to bring the future they want to pass, or if they do know, they are not diligent to continue in the things they do know.

Your life is like a coin. You can spend it any way you want to, but you can only spend it once. Your authority for eternity is while in the body (which is why Jesus was made flesh). The choice you make now determines your eternal destiny. God’s dream is for you to spend eternity with Him and it’s as simple as making Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour. Won’t you please make God’s dream come true for you? If you can’t yet believe that, ask God to reveal Himself to you; He wants to, but you need to ask. May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

God’s Prayer of Love for all mankind

The world has seen Jesus as a religious figure. But we as Christians, need to show that He is the only personal saviour for mankind.

The prayer of Jesus was a powerful prayer; it was a prayer of love to save all mankind. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17). This was a prayer to take back the authority Satan had taken from Adam in the Garden of Eden. The purpose of God’s prayer is to re-unite mankind with the Father, the glory and the BLESSING that was given to mankind in the Garden of Eden.

It was a cry from God’s heart for the world, and we as christians need to show that love to the world. You can’t sit down over a cuppa and say I want to do God’s will one day – it’s deeper than that, for if Jesus had done that the world would not have been saved. And God promises that He will supply ALL our needs (Philippians 4:19) Isn’t that just awesome!

The prayer of Jesus: John 17:1-17

1. After saying all these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you. 2. For you have given him authority over everyone. He give eternal life to each one you have given him. 3. And this is the way to have eternal life – to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth. 4. I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do, 5. Now, Father, bring me into the glory we had before the world began.

6. “I have revealed you [a] to the ones you gave me from this world. They were always yours. You gave them to me, and they have kept your world. 7. Now that they know that everything I have is a gift from you, 8. for I have passed onto them the message you gave me. They accepted it and know that I came from you, and they believe you sent me.

9. “My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. 10. All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory. 11. Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are. 12. During me time here, I protected them by the power of the name you gave me. I guarded them so that not one was lost, except the one headed for destruction, as the Scriptures foretold.

13.”Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy. 14. I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. 15. I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. 16. They do not belong to this world any more them I do. 17 Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.

God knew you before the world even began. In Ephesians 1 is says:

He blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace (verses 3-6).

Think about it! God didn’t wait until you were born to find out a destiny for you, He loves you too much for that. Or before the foundation of the world as we know today, He predestined you to be like Him, as He was with the Father and provided everything you’d ever need to fulfil that destiny.

I pray that you find your destiny in Christ Jesus, just as Jesus did by submitting to the Word. And together with Christ we will fill the earth with His glory (Genesis 1: 27-28), just as He planned for mankind in the beginning.

May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Footnotes:
1. John 17:6 Greek have revealed your name; also in 17:26.
2. John 17:11 some manuscripts read you have given me these [disciples].
3. John 17:12 some manuscripts read I protected those you gave me, by the power of your name.

May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Gods Plan is Health For You

God has designed our body to heal itself – we have all experienced the natural ability for our body to repair itself. This is evidence that God is a GOOD God and wants to heal individuals.

God also wants to make HIS ways known to mankind, and to bring healing to multitudes, as outlined in scripture …

The question must be asked then – if God is a good God, and health is HIS plan, and He is able to heal, then what is the reason that so many people are sick? Please let me explain some of those reasons.

‘Sickness can creep in to a healthy body without the person realizing it at first – anyone who has had a food borne illness can testify to that! God has warned us in His word about certain foods, and what to eat. When God designed the earth He designed it to provide food for man, but after the fall and due to death and decay, God instituted another eating plan. When we consistently choose what food to eat, we choose the consequences.

Most people however need healing not just for their body. God has designed us with a spirit, soul, and body (the soul consists of the mind, will and emotions). God in His great mercy has given us multiple systems to enable health and healing.

Although it might not make sense to us, in this example, healing begins first with forgiving the person that has hurt us! “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” (Mathew 6:14). We might not understand God’s Plan, but when we follow it, we benefit. When we forgive others, God forgives us. “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases” (Psalm 103:3). Healing follows choosing to forgive.

God has made provision for healing and health even if a disease is attempting to establish itself. “O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. (Psalm 30:2). God will do His part. Will you choose to believe God’s word, and to trust Him for healing? God may prompt you to change your lifestyle, to forgive someone who has deeply hurt you, or to see a doctor – but whatever you do, you need to trust in Him to heal you!

God’s greatest health plan for mankind though is for eternity.

God has given us Jesus Christ, that all who believe on him will be saved. “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (I Peter 2:24). Salvation and healing are a joined blessing. Everyone who makes Jesus Christ their personal Lord and Savior is entitled to healing at the same time!

If you have been saved, but walked away from God, God loves you and is still calling out to you – “Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings.” (Jeremiah 3:22). Dear friend, if this is you, please choose to return back to Him today.

May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
